The El Triangle nursery school is located in the municipality of Tàrrega, Catalonia, on a triangular plot on the border between the small-grain residential fabric and the large-volume industrial one.

The functional program is that of a building on one floor for a single-line nursery school, complemented by a multipurpose room, an administration space, a kitchen, a space for facilities and the hygienic equipment itself.

The building is projected aligning the building to the perimeter roads, leaving a central triangular courtyard that protects children from external agents and that distributes circulation flows through a bioclimatic gallery of social relationships. The building also releases some cushion-patios with different uses in the fronts.

The greenhouse and the adjoining porch complete the system of free spaces, which are spaces for future growth, since they allow the provision of a second educational line.

The construction has been 100% dry and is 100% removable, and achieves the objective of the NZEB, highlighting the geothermal energy and the bioclimatic spaces as energy collectors/dissipators which allows changing the form factor of the building summer/winter.
